(1) The State Government shall, by notification in the Gazette and with effect from a date to be specified therein, constitute a corporation by the name of the [Uttarakhand]2 Forest Corporation. (2) The Corporation shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name and shall have the power to acquire, hold and dispose of property for the purposes of this Act. (3) The Corporation shall for all purposes be a local authority. (4) The Corporation shall have its head office at Lucknow and may have offices at such other places as it may consider necessary. [3-A (1) The State Government of [Uttarakhand]2 shall, by notification in the gazette and with effect from the date to be specified therein, constitute a corporation by the name of [Uttarakhand]2 Forest Development Corporation. (2) The Corporation shall be a body corporate having a perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name and shall have the power to acquire, hold and dispose off property for the purpose of this Act. (3) The Corporation shall for all purposes be a local authority. (4) The [Uttarakhand] Forest Development Corporation shall have its head office at Narendranagar and may have offices at such places as it may consider necessary. (5) The area of operation of the Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation shall be the entire territory of the State of Uttarakhand, in respect of which the Uttar Pradesh Forest Corporation will cease to function and operate with effect from the date the [Uttarakhand]2 Forest Development Corporation is notified in the gazette.]1 Constitution of the corporation
