The objectives for which the University is established are as follows:- (a) To provide for extensive study, teaching, and research of all elements of Technical Education, Higher Education, Law Education, Social Science, General Science; 5 (b) To conduct the courses of Technical Education Management Education, Higher Education, Law Education, Social Science, General Science, Journalism etc; with the prior permission and to adhere to procedure and norms laid down by UGC and Statutory/ Regulatory body and State Government; (c) To promote research and innovations in the Technical, Management, Higher education, Journalism; (d) To undertake external studies, extension programs and external field out activities to contribute to the development of society; (e) To promote National integration, secularism, social and international harmony and engineering of ethics; (f) To contribute to the promotion and development of economically and socially deprived class and provide to such students the opportunity to join mainstream. (g) As required, doing all such works that is necessary, relevant and helpful for achieving all or any of the objectives of the University. Powers of the University
