(1) Where any land has been requisitioned under section 3, the [State Government]1 may at any time, acquire it by publishing in the official Gazette, a notice to the effect that it has decided, to acquire it in pursuance of this section. (2) Where a notice as aforesaid is published in the official Gazette, the requisioned land shall, from the beginning of the day, on which the notice, is so published vest absolutely in the [State Government]1 free from all encumbrances and the period of requisitioning of such land shall end forthwith.
