[(1) The Board may, with the previous sanction of the State Government, make rules consistent with this Act in respect of all or any of the following matters, namely: (a) Prescribing the duties of Tahsildars and Naib-Tahsildars and regulating their postings and transfers and their appointment in temporary vacancies; (b) Prescribing the forms, methods of preparation, attestation and maintenance of the record-of-rights and other records, maps, field books registers, and lists made or kept under this Act and prescribing the kind of land, if any, in respect of which any such record need not be prepared under Section 32; (c) Regulating the imposition of lines, under Section 38 for failure to notify successions and transfers. (d) Regulating the costs which may be recovered in or in respect of any proceeding under this Act; (e) Regulating the procedure to be followed by any officer (or other person), who under any provision of this Act is required or empowered to take action in any 69 case or proceeding under this Act; (f) Generally for the guidance of all persons in a case or proceeding under this Act, and for carrying out the provisions of this Act in respect of such case or proceeding; (g) Regulating the issue of licences to persons to act as petition writers in the Revenue Courts, the conduct of business by such persons and the scale of fees to be charged by them, and the cancellation of such licences for breach of the terms and conditions thereof. (2) Notwithstanding anything in sub-section (1), all rules made by the State Government or the Board under this section as it stood immediately before the date of commencement of the Uttar Prades Land Laws (Amendment) Act, 1975, and in force on such date shall continue in force until repealed, amended or altered by the competent authority.]2 -------------------------------------------- 1-omitted by UP Act no 01 of 1951. 2-Sub by section 45 of UP Act no 30 of 1975.
