Every officer of the police, salt, opium and land revenue departments shall be bound to give immediate information to an [officer of the Excise Department]1 of all breaches of any of the provisions of this Act which may come to his knowledge, and to aid, any [officer of the Excise Department]1 in carrying out the provisions of this Act upon request made by such officer. [Duty of owner occupier, lekhpal or village policeman to report certain matters
