Terms of office of Chairman and other members.-(l) The Chairman of the Nigam, unless appointed ex officio, shall hold office for three years unless his term is determined earlier by the State Government by notification in the Gazette, and shall be eligible for reappointment. (2) A person nominated under clause (g) of sub-section (2) of Section 4 shall, unless his term is determined earlier by the State Government hold office for a period of three years or until the expiry of his term of office as elected head of the local body concerned, whichever is earlier, but shall be eligible for reappointment. ________________
