(1)The Registrar shall be appointed by the Chancellor in such manner and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by Statutes. (2) All contracts shall be entered into and signed by Registrar on behalf of the University. (3) The Registrar shall be responsible for due custody of records and common seal of the University and shall be bound to place before the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor or any other authority, all such information and documents as may be necessary for transaction of their business. (4) The Registrar shall have powers to authenticate records on behalf of the University and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Statues or may be required from time to time, by the Chancellor or the Vice- Chancellor.
