Subject to the approval of the State Government, the Director may, by a notification in the official Gazette, delegate all or any of the powers conferred upon him by or under this Act, except the powers which he exercise as Chairman of the Board to an officer or officers of the Sanskrit Education Department not lower in rank than a Joint Director of Sanskrit Education.
