In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (i) “Academic Council” means the Academic Council of the University; (ii) “Bar Council” means the State Bar Council of Uttarakhand; (iii) “Chancellor” means the Chancellor of the University; (iv) “Executive Council” means the Executive Council of the University; (v) “Governing Council” means the Governing Council of the University; (vi) “Prescribed” means prescribed by Regulations; (vii) “Registrar” means the Registrar of the University; (viii) “Regulations” means the Regulations of the University; (ix) “State Government” means the Government of Uttarakhand; (x) “University” means the National Law University of Uttarakhand; (xi) “Vice Chancellor” means the Vice Chancellor of the University.
