(1) The votes shall be cast in a secret manner in the polling booths fixed, by the Sahayak Shikshak Nirvachan Adhikari between the hours of 8 o'clock in the morning and 5 o'clock in the evening. (2) An elector desiring to cast vote shall be required to go in person to the Polling both fixed in this behalf and cast his vote there. (3) After the close of the poll the sahayak Shikshak Nirvachan Adhikari shall seal the ballot boxes and keep them in such a safe place as may be determined by the Mukhya Shikshak Nirvachan Adhikari. Counting of votes shall commence immediately thereafter. (4) The Sahayak Shikshak Nirvachan Adhikari may permit the candidate or his authorised agent to be present in the polling booth during the hours of polling and at the place of counting during the hours of counting. The approval of the appointment of agent shall be obtained from the Sahayak Shikshak Nirvachan Adhikari by the candidate at least an hour before the commencement of the polling. Adjournment of poll
