1. (1) This Act may be called the United Provinces Requisition of Motor Vehicles (Emergency Powers) Act, 1947 ; (2) It extends to the whole of 3 [Uttar Pradesh] ; (3) 4 [It shall be deemed to have come into force on the date it was first published in the Official Gazette. ]
