Notwithstanding any judgment, decree or order of any court to the contrary, anything done or purporting to have been done, and any action taken or purporting to have been taken unde any provision of this Act, before the date of publication of the Uttar Pradesh Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018 shall be valid and be deemed always to have been valid as if the provision of this Act as amended by the said Act were in force at all material times.]
