(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Junior High Schools (Payment of Salaries of Teachers and other Employees) Act, 1978. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification appoint in this behalf.
