(1) The State Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint a [Labour] 9 Commissioner. (2) The [Labour] 9 Commissioner shall be a Corporation sole by the name of the [Labour] 9 Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, and shall have perpetual succession and an official seal and may sue and be sued in his corporate name.
