(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Housing Act, 1955. (2) It shall extend to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force in such areas and with effect from such date as the State Government may, by notification 2 in the Official Gazette, declare in this behalf.
