Penalties

The breach of any rules made under section 3 or of any prohibition notified under section 4 shall be punished ; (1) on first conviction with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two months or with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees or with both ; and (2) on every subsequent conviction, with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to twelve months or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
