In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires.— (a) "Board" means the State Open School Board. Uttar Pradesh established under section 3: (b) "Centre Superintendent" means a person appointed as such by the Board for supervision of the examinations to be conducted by the Board; (c) "Chairperson" means the Chairperson of the Board appointed by the State Government under Clause (a) of section 4; (d) "Director" means the Director of the Board appointed under Clause (b) of section 4: (e) "Executive Committee" means the Executive Committee of the Board constituted under Section 5; (f) "Head of the Institution" means the Principal, the Head Master or the Head Mistress of a Study Centre of the Board:
