(1) The State Government may appoint suitable person respectively as the Secretary and the Chief Accounts Officer of the Authority who shall exercise such powers and perform such. duties as may be prescribed. (2) The Authority may, with the prior approval of State Government create such posts, as it considers necessary, for the efficient discharge of its functions under this Act and may, subject to any rules that may be made in this behalf, make appointments on such posts and determine the designations or persons so appointed. (3) The qualifications and terms and conditions of service of officers and employees, appointed under Sub-section (2), shall be such as may be prescribed. (4) The officers and employees appointed under Sub-section (2), shall Perform and discharge functions and duties as may be prescribed.- (5)The Secretary, the Chief Accounts Officer and other officer and employees of the Authority shall be entitled to receive from the funds of the Authority and salaries and allowances as may be prescribed.
