Delegation of powers

(1) The State Government may, by notification, delegate to any officer or authority subordinate to it all or any powers conferred on it by or under this Act other than the power to make rules. (2) Subject to the provisions of this Act and to such restrictions as may be imposed by the State Government by a general or special order, the Au- thority or the Chairman may, by an order in writing, delegate to any officer sub- ordinate to the Authority all or any powers exercisable by the Authority or the Chairman, as the case. may be, under this Act, or the rules made there, under.
