Section 10

Visitor

(1) The Governor of Uttar Pradesh shall be the Visitor of the Institute. (2) The Visitor shall, after every five years, cause to be reviewed the progress of the Institute in such manner as he thinks fit. (3) Upon reviewing progress of the Institute, the Visitor may make a reference to the State Government for taking action under section 34 or may, subject to the provisions of this Act, issue such directions, as he considers necessary, and the Institute shall be bound to comply with such directions. (4) Without prejudice to the foregoing provisions of this section but subject to the provisions of section 36, the Visitor, may, by order in writing, annul any proceedings of the Institute which is not in conformity with this Act or the rules or regulations made thereunder ; Provided that before making any such order, he shall call upon the Institute to show cause why such an order should not be made and if any cause is shown within such reasonable time, as may be allowed therefor, shall consider the same.
