149. A Government lessee may be evicted from the land held by him on one or more of the following grounds namely— (a) that he has failed to pay the rent or any other sum due under the leas within six months from the date on which it became due ; (b) that he has used such land for any purpose other than that for which it was granted ; (c) that the term of his lease has expired or the lease has been cancelled ; (d) that he has contravened any terms or conditions of the lease.
