(1) The Statc Government may, after Previous pyp, rules. lication in the official Gazette, make rules to carry out the py of this Act. Purposes F (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may pravide for all or any of the following matters, namely— (i) the conditions under which a unit may pe consti- tuted in any institution under this Act 3 (ii) the appointment of persons or class of persons as officers and thelike under this Act and their condi- | tions of service 3 [ (iii) the manner, period and the conditions subject to | which any person or class of persons may be enrolled in the Corps ; (iv) the courses of socidl service and military training for any person or class of persons governed by this Act and their ranks and the like ; (v) the maintenance of discipline amongst the members of the Corps ; (vi) the duties, powers and functions of officers appointed under this Act ; (vii) the allowances or other remuneration payable t0 members of the Corps and officers appointed under this Act ; iy (viii) the removal or discharge of any person governed by this Act ; . s (ix): the determination of offences and penalties under e Act and the manner of carrying into effect the or relating to offences ; . be (%) the dress, and the badges of rank which may necessary for the students and officers; and » (xi): any other matter which is to be or may be prescr! ) s (3) All rules made under this Act shall be laid for no[tlhfs)’ than fourteen days before the State Legislature as sgofl'flzs e _are made ‘and shall be subject to such modifications Legislature may make in them, psm—;A,gP: 145 Genl: (Leg)—1958. 2,916. ”
