6. (1) A NIRMAN Kshetra declared under this Act and the periphery thereof except the abadi area, including land set apart for development of abadi, of a village and the municipal area, shall cease to be under the jurisdiction of a local authority to the extent it relates to the provisions made in this Act. (2) While preparing the Master Development Plan for the NIRMAN Kshetra, the Regional Development Authority shall take into account the development plan, if any, prepared by the respective local authorities
