207. Whoever begins continues or completes the laying out or making of a street without giving the notice required by section 1 [204] or in contravention of any written directions made by the Municipality under section 205 or any by-law or any provision of this Act shall be liable upon conviction to a fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
