No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie in respect of anything in good faith done or purported or intended to be done under this Act against the State Government, any 1 [Corporator], 2 [ ***], 3 [ Mayor] or against the 3 [Municipal Commissioner], or any 1 [Corporation] officer or servant or against person acting under and in accordance with the directions under this Act of the State Government the 1 [Corporation], any Committee constituted under this Act, the 3 [Municipal Commissioner], any 1 [Corporation] officer or servant or of a magistrate.
