Section 5

Disqualification and removal

(1) No Person shall be nominated or shall continue to be a member of the Board if he- (a) is a salaried official of the Board; or (b) has at any time been adjudged insolvent; or (c) is of unsound mind ; or (d) has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude. (2) The State Government may remove from office any member, who- (a) is or has become subject to any of the disqualifications mentioned in sub-section (1) or (b) remains absent without leave of the Board at more than three consecutive meetings of the Board; or (c) in the case of a member nominated under clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 4, no more fulfills the conditions of his nomination.
