259. The State Government may, by notification in the Gazette , delegate to the prescribed authority, in respect of any specified 1 [Zila Panchayat] or 1 [Kshettra Panchayat] or 1 [Zila Panchayat] or 1 [Kshettra Panchayat] any one or more of the powers vested in it by this Act.
