1. (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2022. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force in any area on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different areas and for different provisions of this Act.
