- S. 1The section establishes the Uttar Pradesh Criminal Law (Composition of Offences and Abatement of Trials) (Amendment) Act, 1979 and its applicability throughout Uttar Pradesh.
- S. 2After section 131-A of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939, the following section shall be inserted, namely :— ‘‘131-B
- S. 3In the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, after section 22-C, the following section Shall be inserted, namely "22-CC
- S. 4In Chapter X of the Factories Act, 1946, after section 106, the following section shall be inserted, namely :— "106-A
- S. 5For section 34-A of the Police Act,
- S. 6Section 6 allows specially empowered officers to compound certain offences before or after prosecution, provided a composition fee is paid.
- S. 7Section 7 allows Nagar Mahapalika to compound certain offenses before or after prosecution, with payment of a composition fee.
- S. 8Section allows the Chief Inspector to compound certain offences before or after prosecution, with payment of a composition fee.
- S. 9Section 9 abates trials for specified offenses and proceedings pending before a magistrate as of December 31, 2021.
