53-A. Recognition of consolidation scheme prepared by tenure-holders. - (1) The Deputy Director, Consolidation, may recognize a 1 [Consolidation Scheme] in respect of a village, whether within or without a consolidation area prepared voluntarily by the tenure-holders of the village, where he is satisfied that it conforms to the broad principles of consolidation under this Act, and has the support of all the tenure-holders concerned and is otherwise fair to all concerned. (2) The 1 [Consolidation Scheme] recognized under sub-section (1) shall be deemed to have been prepared and confirmed under the provisions of this Act, and shall be enforced thereunder.
