73. (1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, every person holding office as an Officer of the existing University on the date immediately before the commencement of this Act shall continue to hold office on the same terms and conditions until the expiration of his term of office. (2) The State Government shall, soon after the commencement of this Act or as soon as practicable preferably within period of one month, appoint the full time Registrar and the Finance Officer of the University.
