7. (1) The University shall be open to all persons (including the teachers and students) of whatever race, religion, caste, creed, class or sex: (2) The University shall not admit to any course of study a larger number of students than may be determined by the Statutes and Regulations: Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the University from making special provisions for admission of students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes of citizens.
