If any person contravenes any provision of this Act or of any rule or regulation he shall, if no other penalty is provided for such contravention, be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, and in case of continuing breach, with further fine which may extend to twenty-five rupees for each day during which the breach continues after the first conviction.
