The Academic Council: (i) The Academic Council shall be the Principal Academic Body of the University and shall be subject to the provisions of the statutes and the ordinances. coordinate and exercise gencral supervision over the academic and research policies and implementations of the University; (ii) The Constitution of the Academic Council, the term of the office of its members and its powers and duties shall be such as may be prescribed in the statutes.
