President, Vice-President and Members of the Council The President and Vice-President of the State Council shall be elected or selected by the members of the State Council from amongst themselves. (2) The term of the President, Vice-President and members of the State Council shall be five years from the date of Gazette notification or until successors shall have been duly elected or nominated whichever is longer.
