(1) Nothing in this Act shall debar the recovery of dues in respect offinancial assistance given to an agriculturist or the security of a charge or mortgage created by the agriculturist on any land or interest therein in favour of a Corporation, bank or other institution where such dues are recoverable under the provisions of any other law for the time being in force. (2) The provision of this Act is not in derogation of any of the provisions ofthe TLR and LRAct, 1960 relating to recovery ofland revenue and other money mentioned therein but may be enforced or resorted to in the alternative.
