Police Accountability Commission : The State Government shall, within six months of the coming into effect of this Act, establish a State-Level Police Accountability Commission (“the Police Commission”),consisting of a Chairperson, Members and such other staff as may be necessary, to inquire into public complaints against the police personnel for serious misconduct and perform such other functions as stipulated in this Chapter.
