Notice of death and removal of name from the Register: The Council may on receipt of reliable information regarding the death of a person whose name is entered in the Register, and on making such enquiry as it may think fit, direct the removal of his name from the Regis- ter and thereupon the Registrar shall cancell the entry relating to such person.
