Registration of Nurses, Midwives, Health Visitors, etc.: (1) The Council shall maintain a register for regi tered nurses, mid- wives, auxiliary nurse-midwives, multipurpose workers (female), multipurpose supervisors (female), Health Visitors, Public Health Nurses or other similar persons, in several parts in which the per- sons to be registered shall be classified according to qualifications in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) The Registrar shall, from time to time, make necessary entries in the register in respect of the persons whose names are to be regis- tered, their qualifications, and their addresses and may also from time to time make such alterations or modifications as may be required in cnosequence of any orders pa sed by the Council or otherwise.
