Whenever the Municipality makes a request for acquisition of land Special provisio~l for the purpose of providing a new street or for widening or improving an for acquisition existing street, it shall be lawful for the Municipality to ask for the acquisition ofladsadjoining of such additional land, ilnmediately adjoining the land to be acquired for streets. such new street or existing street as may be required for the sites of building to be erected on either side of the street.
