(1) No new well, tube-well, tank, pond, cistern or fountain shall be ~ i ~ ~ i of dug or constructed without the previous permission, in writing of the ,d&withOUt Municipality. permission is prohibited. (2) If any such work is begun or completed without such permission the Municipality may- (a) by written notice require the owner or the other person who has done such work to fill up or demolish such work ; or (b) grant permission to retain such work or portion thereof on such terms and conditions as the Municipality may consider fit to impose.
