(1) Every holder of land on the written requisition of a survey officer empower under section 54 shall erect and repair such boundary marks on the land as that officer directs. (2) It shall fall due in two equal installments, one on the 15th rule (1) fails to comply with it, the survey officer may cause to be repaired and realize the cost so incurred from persons having interest in the land.
