Whenever a proclamation is issued under the Act copies thereof shall be pasted in some conspicuous place of the court house of the officer issuing it, at the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer of the Sub-Division within which the land to which it refers is situated, and some place of public resort on or adjacent to the land to which it refers, and unless the officer issuing it otherwise directs, the proclamation shall be further published by beat of drum in the village, in which the land to which it refers is situated or if such village is uninhabited, in the village from which the land is cultivated.
