Remission or suspension of land revenue may be granted— Remission of suspension of land revenue (a) in the event of failure of crops due do— (b) widespread calamities such s famine, draught, etc.; (c) local calamities such as hail, floods, locusts and similar visitation; and (d) in case in which crops could not be grown in any area in consequence of an order made under any law by a competent authority.
