Registration: ( 1) A licensee or a person, who generates and sales electricity in any non-conventional mode as prescribed in section 4(4)(c) of this Act, shall, within such date as may be notified by the Government obtain registration from Inspecting Officer having jurisdiction over such licensee or person. (2) Application for registration shall be made in such manner and in such form, as may be prescribed. (3) The Inspecting Officer may t on receipt of an application and after such enquiry as he considers necessary, grant to the applicant a certificate of registration.
