The Registrar, a person exercising the powers of the Registrar, a person authorised to audit the accounts of a society under section 79 or to hold an inquiry under section 81 or to make an inspection under section 82 or section 86 and a person appointed as an administration under section 74,or as a nominee or board of nominees under section 95, or as a Liquidator under section 106, shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
