The State Government may, by order in writing, specifying the reasons thereof, suspend the execution of any resolution or order of the Board or of any committee and prohibit the doing of any act which purports to be done or intended to be done under this Act, if the State Government is of opinion that such resolution, order or act is in excess of the powers conferred by or under this Act upon the Board or the committee, as the case be.
