The Pro-Vice-Chancellor: (i) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor will be appointed by the Chancellor and shall exercise such powers and performs such functions as may be prescribed; (ii) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor appointed under sub-section (1) shall discharge his duties in addition to his duties as a Professor; 14 (iii) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall assist the Vice:Chancellor in discharging day-to- day duties as and when required by the Vice-Chancellor.
