Appointment of Conciliation Officer-—The Government may, by notification in. the Official Gazette, appomt for any area specified therein any. officer of the Labour Department, not below the rank of Labour Officer, to be a Conciliation Officer for the purpose of performing the functions entrust- ed:to a Conciliation Officer by or under this Act.
