(1) This Act may be called the Tripura Agricualtural Credit Opera- tions Act, 1976. (2) It shall extend to the whole of Tripura. (3) It shall come into force from such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf and differ- ent dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act and for differ- ent areas of the State.
